Hi guys! This has been my go-to leg workout the last couple of weeks! As you may know, I have three lower body days a week, 2 glute focused and then one full lower body where I really focus in on the quads, hamstrings, and calves. Don't be fooled though, you will still target your glutes in this workout too! This workout incorporates a lot of squat variations and puts a lot of focus on the quads ( aka - they will be on fire!). This is a staple workout for anyone looking to get in the gym and target their entire lower body and see some pretty awesome results with consistency! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! xx. Intense leg session with my good mates Fresh and Maya. Leg Workout Routine: We always start our leg day with a few warm up sets, in this video we started off with leg extensions, leg curls (Including Gironda leg curl) and Glute bridges. After the sets mentioned above, we we're fully warmed up and ready to take on the compound exercises. Our working sets includes of SST(Sarcoplasmic Stimulating Training) with Squats - heavy sets, time under tension and high reps. Hack squats facing the machine(heels are higher and more emphasis on the glutes) then the other way round to lay more ephasis on the quads. We love the leg press machine as it targets multiple muscles and with leg press we focus on repetition. At Home Leg And Glute Workout For Men And For Women - Dumbbell Leg Workout For Beginners

In this video we go through an at home leg and glute workout with dumbbells. This leg workout is for men, for women and even for beginners. Transcript/notes Beginner leg workout at home with dumbbells Whats up dudes and whats up beautiful ladies out there, Bryan here and in this video we are going to go through a beginner’s at home leg workout routine using dumbbells. We are going to go through 5 different exercises that will hit the major areas of your legs, hamstrings, quads or thighs and calves along with some glute work as well. 3 sets per exercise, 8 to 10 repetitions per set and start off using lighter weights in the 3 to 10 pound dumbbell range, until your targeted muscles get stronger and you get more comfortable with the movements. The first exercise is front lunges. From a standing position, step forward to a distance that is comfortable for you, while keeping your torso straight. Drop down to a depth that again is comfortable for you, then step back and then return to the starting position. Alternate legs for this exercise and this will work your quads in the front of your upper legs, your hamstrings in the back of your upper legs and your glutes, and this exercise can also help improve your balance and coordination. Next up is calf raises. From a flat footed position raise up onto your toes while holding dumbbells at your sides, and then return to the flat footed position. Keep your knees straight during this movement. This exercise will work your calves, or the muscles in the back of your lower legs, and it can also help improve your balance. Next up is laying leg curls. Start by laying face down on the floor with your arms slightly flared out on the floor as well. Hold a dumbbell between your feet slightly up off the floor. From this position, curl your legs up toward your butt bending at the knees bringing the weight up to a position that is comfortable for your range of motion. Then return to the starting position. This exercise will target your hamstrings. Next up is squats. For this exercise stand with your feet about shoulder width apart and hold a dumbbell with both hands close to your torso. From this position, lower yourself to a depth that is comfortable for you. Then raise yourself up to the standing position, keeping your heels on the ground for the entire movement. This exercise will work your quads, or muscles in the front of you thighs, and your glutes. Last exercise Then next exercise is deadlifts. Start by standing and having a straight or slight bend at the knees and hold the dumbbells in front of you. For this exercise, bend at the waist, lowering the weights down to a point that is comfortable for your range of motion. Focus on keeping a straight or slightly bent knee throughout the movement. Once you have reached the bottom, return to the starting position. This exercise will target your hamstrings and glutes.
