Actual Product || Core Product || Augmented Product || Marketing || Hindi || #4minutemarketing

Actual Product In product levels, ‘Actual Product’ depicts the actual physical component of a product. It constitutes the product’s build, physical appearance, packaging etc. Let us take the example of a car. In this product the physical appearance of the car and all its physical features constitute the actual product. Attributes like number of doors in the car, whether it is a sedan or an SUV etc are all considerations that will be categorised under ‘physical product.’ Core Product The core product is the most important concept to understand as this is the one that explains the main motive of buying a product. There are many reasons why a product is purchased but there is always that one main reason. The basic purpose of the purchase is the main need that is satisfied when the product is used. This is called as the core product. To continue with the example of the car, the main use of a car is to make transportation from one place to another easier and faster. The core product in a car is transportation. Having understood the three main levels of a product, let us understand Augmented products better. Augmented Product All the ‘over and above’ features or benefits that you get when you buy a product are considered under the term ‘augmented product.’ These are not physical attributes nor are these such offerings that satisfy your basic needs. These are those offerings that are given by a company that act as value added services and make the customers feel happy and satisfied about their purchase. Let us continue with the example of a car to make the concept clear. When you purchase a car, the dealer gives you certain offers and added services. These differ from dealer to dealer. Benefits like a more comfortable interest rate, free service for the first two years, warranty, guarantee etc are all benefits that will come under ‘augmented product.’ Facebook Page : https://www.facebook.com/4MINUTEMARKETING/ Instagram Page : https://www.instagram.com/4minutemarketing/ If you find this content helpful, do SHARE it with others. 3DEXCITE Augmented Reality at the launch of Dongfeng Nissan´s new Teana model

05:10
For the Guangzhou, China launch of Dongfeng Nissan's new Teana, RTT developed a spectacular Augmented Reality (AR)-based presentation that offered the public a detailed, scaled product experience in a hitherto unknown form and quality. During the unveiling, a virtual image of the Teana was projected onto the stage and orchestrated interactively with AR in front of the public's eyes. This was made possible by tracking the presenter´s on-stage movements in realtime and combining the information with scenes produced in RTT DeltaGen. "A conventional product presentation is no longer enough to communicate all core messages and USPs of a product in an emotionally-charged, memorable way. That's why we joined forces with RTT and used AR technology for the first time at a launch presentation. The results exceeded our wildest dreams," said Jason Yang, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company.

What is a Product from Marketing perspective? | KnowledgeLab #Episode 3 I Pragmatic Leaders

00:55
In Episode 3 of the Knowledge Lab Series, Talvinder talks about Product from a Marketing Perspective. In the video, he explains the Kotler's Three Levels of Product. Transcript: From the vantage point of marketing there are three types of products. Kotler defined them as the core product, the actual benefit that a customer gets, the actual product which is like the embodiment of the fixtures and the equipment that actually constitute the actual product. And the Augmented product which is the additional features which help in establishing or furthering the core and the actual product. For example for a washing machine the core product is that you get the convenience of washing clothes. The actual product is the drum, the kit and everything else, the physical product that is the actual product and Augmented product would be the one-year warranty or the two-year warranty that you get over the machine. So that's Product from a Marketing perspective. About TALVINDER SINGH Founder, Pragmatic Leaders 10+ years experience in Tech Product Industry ex-Product Head @ OYO Flagship | ex-CPO @ Freecultr ex-Founder & CEO @ Tushky Alumni: -Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, -500startups, -Global SuperAngels Forum (GSF) He blogs at http://talvinder.com

Download, Install and Setup Wikitude ARCore 1.2 in Unity

12:02
Download, Install and setup Wikitude ARCore 1.2 in Unity ►FREE AR Business Card Crash Course: http://augmentedstartups.info/AR-business-card-Free-course-sp ►Enroll Here in the Full ARCore MasterClass Course: http://bit.ly/ARCoreCourse-Teachable ►Github : http://augmentedstartups.info/ARCore-Github-Repo ►AR Courses on Udemy: http://bit.ly/UdemyARCourses Android SDK tools Folder http://bit.ly/androidtoolsArduinoStartups So this lecture we are going to be learning how to get started with ARCore and Wikitude in Unity as well as setup our android devices. So first things first, we are going to be downloading a few files as follows: 1. Unity 2017.3, with the latest version at the time of this recording is 2017.3.1 2. Android Studio 3. JDK or Java Development Kit 4. ARcore package, currently ARCore 1.0 is available. Now make sure you have one of these supported devices Show supported devices. Hopefully Google will make this SDK to support more android devices soon. I have experimented with the hacks from ARcoreforall github repository by tom the carrot, but it does not seem to work on my LG V30 or LG G4 so I expect that a lot of my student to have trouble as well. However you are welcome to try this hack out, to get ARcore working on unsupported devices. I will be using a Galaxy S7 which is supported by ARcore in the next lecture to demo the HelloAR app. If you still don’t win, getting ARCore to run on your unsupported device there is a one last option, which is to use Wikitude. Wikitude, is an SDK for Unity that enables developers to quickly and easily build Augmented Reality apps that run on all commonly available iOS and Android devices. So basically it brings ARcore and ARkit functionality like lighting, surface detection, textures, and 3D tracking to non-supported devices. What is nice about Wikitude is that it integrates seamlessly with ARkit and ARcore so when your devices does get supported, you won’t have to worry about rehacking your code. What is also cool about Wikitude is that this SDK already supports and is integrated with ARCore and ARKit mean that it works cross platform. Their SDK automatically uses the correct AR technology under the covers based on the device you run your app on. There is no need to also import the Google ARCore plugin. So just to be clear, this lecture we going to be running Wikitude first so that people with unsupported devices can get started and in the next lecture we’ll run the HelloARCore App, but we set up the base now so that both run. Okay so let’s get started with ARcore ! If you only have Unity and Android setup already, you can skip ahead in this video, till the installation of Wikitude and ARcore. ------------------------------------------------------------ Support us on Patreon ►AugmentedStartups.info/Patreon Chat to us on Discord ►AugmentedStartups.info/discord Interact with us on Facebook ►AugmentedStartups.info/Facebook Check my latest work on Instagram ►AugmentedStartups.info/instagram Learn Advanced Tutorials on Udemy ►AugmentedStartups.info/udemy ------------------------------------------------------------ To learn more on Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality IoT, Deep Learning FPGAs, Arduinos, PCB Design and Image Processing then check out http://augmentedstartups.info/home Please Like and Subscribe for more videos :)

Bose has a plan to make AR glasses Bose AR augmented-reality glasses enhance the world with sound, not visuals Introduction Best known for its speakers and headphones, the company “Bose” has created a $50 million development fund to back a new AR platform that's all about audio. OK, so this is weird, and not what we were expecting when Bose told us it was making a new product announcement at this year's SXSW which is an annual conglomerate of film, interactive media, and music festivals and conferences that take place in mid-March in Austin, Texas, United States. It's creating an. In this video, engineering today will discuss about the augmented-reality platform which is promised by Bose. What is it, how does it work and why should be excited for it? FIRST AUDIO AUGMENTED PLATFORM That's right, Bose is getting into the AR glasses game, but it's not what you think. The augmented-reality platform it has announced -- and set up a $50 million venture fund to support it -- is about audio, not video. Bose is calling it the first "audio augmented platform" and says its Bose AR prototype -- "glasses to hear" -- is the future of mobile sound. For now the glasses won't be available to consumers, just for developers and manufacturers. The Bose AR SDK, and limited quantities of a refined and updated version of the Bose AR glasses, will be available this summer. It's unclear when they will be available to consumers or how much they'll cost. Bose also didn't say whether you'll be able to get a prescription lens put in them. Think of it as different type of wearable headphone that's got some very smart features. BOSE AR GIVES PRIORITY YOUR VIEW Unlike other augmented reality products and platforms, Bose AR doesn't change what you see, but knows what you're looking at, without an integrated lens or phone camera. And rather than superimposing visual objects on the real world, an audible layer of information and experiences, making every day better, easier, more meaningful, and more productive. Other companies, like German-startup Bragi, which makes totally wireless in-ear earphones, talk fervently about the computerization of headphones. But Bose has brought the concept to a different form factor, one that can presumably house a larger battery to power the always-on experience. The secret sauce seems to be the tiny, "wafer-thin" acoustics package developed for the platform. Bose said it represents the future of mobile micro-sound and features "jaw-dropping power and clarity." Bose adds the technology can "be built into headphones, eyewear, helmets and more and it allows simple head gestures, voice, or a tap on the wearable to control content." PLAY WITH SOUND "Bose AR represents a new kind of augmented reality, one that's made for anyone and every day. It places audio in your surroundings, not digital images, so you can focus on the amazing world around you, rather than a tiny display. It knows which way you're facing, and can instantly connect that place and time with endless possibilities for travel, learning, music and more. And it can be added to products and apps we already use and love, removing some of the big obstacles that have kept AR on the sidelines." Aside from core features like music listening and call making, Bose said the wearable uses sensors to track head motion, and the GPS from an iOS or Android device to track location. "The sensors send the motion and location data to a Bose AR-enabled app that aggregates the information, sending relevant, real-time content back to the user's ears instantly. And it can be used for multiple applications. Conclusions Here are some examples Bose gave for how it might be used: • For travel, the Bose AR could simulate historic events at landmarks as you view them -- "so voices and horses are heard charging in from your left, then passing right in front of you before riding off in the direction of their original route, fading as they go." You could hear a statue make a famous speech when you approach it. Or get told which way to turn towards your departure gate while checking in at the airport. • Bose AR could translate a sign you're reading. Or tell you the word or phrase for what you're looking at in any language. Or explain the story behind the painting you've just approached. • With gesture controls, you could choose or change your music with simple head nods indicating yes, no, or next. • Bose AR would add useful information based on where you look. Like the forecast when you look up or information about restaurants on the street you look down. They're working on getting a hands-on demo of the product in Austin and will let you know just how good it sounds, and works, as soon as they do.

4D Volumetric Hologram Capture in Augmented Reality using ARCore and Unity ►FREE AR Business Card Crash Course: http://augmentedstartups.info/AR-business-card-Free-course-sp ►Enroll Here in the Full ARCore MasterClass Course: http://bit.ly/ARCoreCourse-Teachable ►Github : http://augmentedstartups.info/ARCore-Github-Repo ►AR Courses on Udemy: http://bit.ly/UdemyARCourses Volumetric sequences courtesy: 4DViews : Shaolin master, Spartan, Fashion model, Soccer player, Basketball player. 8i : Zombie, Tiger, Alpaca, Man in monkey suit”. In this tutorial I’ll be showing you how to implement your own holograms in augmented reality. Now the holographic models are volumetric sequences that are captured using volumetric capture technology. And one of the main companies specializing in this is 4DViews. Now why would you want to have a 4D model or a volumetric sequence in your app or tool? Well for a number of reasons. Firstly, instead of manually animating a 3d character to perform a complex sequence, you can perform the same sequence using real people in a volumetric capture studio. This results in a much more realistic experience of the sequence. Like for example, to animate a shaolin monk to perform these complex movements would be quite challenging to do as well time consuming, however getting the real deal to do these moves would be way simpler. Now this is all provided you have access to a volumetric capture system near you. At the moment, these studios are scarce, but just like any other technology, there could be studios like these popping around just about everywhere or they may become even cheap enough for you to buy your very own 4D volumetric capture system. Now its not only 4DViews that are innovating in this space. Intel is investing millions if not billions into volumetric capture technology. Like if you watch this video on filmmaking in volumetric video, you capture once and thereafter you are able to manipulate any camera angle that you desire just as if you were dragging around your camera just like you would in unity within a 3d scene. This is not only great in film making but also in sports with intels Free-D technology. This amazing tech allows the viewer to view any angle of a sporting event in real time and really immerse yourself in the action. Other applications on the top of my head is an AR business card, where you can project a 4d hologram of yourself demonstrating or discussing a product such as if you are a yoga instructor. You can perhaps show your clients a pose and allow them to view any angle to help them better understand how to perform that pose. The world is your oyster here if you can apply this amazing technology to tourism, business, arts, engineering to name a few. Okay so let me show you how to create your own 4D volumetric app using a demo model from 4DViews.

About Product IndiFix: There are inherent limitations in traditional assisted tech support models. While support employees may be well trained, highly technical, empathetic, and have strong communication skills, they still are limited by the actual medium of audio phone support. They cannot see what the customer sees and are limited to how customers explain and describe a technical problem and environmental issues. Augmented live Video support has the capability of completely changing this dynamic. IndiFix (leveraging the ubiquity of mobile devices) is an augmented visual support tool where support agent can connect to the customer using just a video link over the web browser and thus can see into the customer’s environment, allowing them to visually inspect equipment or error messages. The agent is remotely able to hand hold customers and guide them using tools like screen annotations and augmented hand gestures overlayed on customers screen which increases the likelihood of success for walking a customer through a repair or recovery procedure. Thus the customer solves the problem himself without waiting for the onsite arrival of the agent. #228 Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR) & Artificial Intelligence (AI)

52:12
We interact with the digital world through PCs and smartphone screens. According to Robert Scoble and Shel Israel, renowned authors of the new book “The Fourth Transformation,” that’s about to change dramatically as head-mounted virtual interfaces (VR), powered by artificial intelligence A.I. and machine learning, will immerse us in digital worlds. You’ll rethink every part of your digital strategy once you see the world through Scoble and Israel’s virtual reality goggles. Michael Krigsman is an industry analyst and the host of CXOTALK For more information: https://www.cxotalk.com/episode/augmented-reality-artificial-intelligence ------------------ See our upcoming shows: https://cxotalk.com ------------------ Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/cxotalk ------------------ From the transcript: (04:39) Shel Israel, why does this all matter? What are the implications? Shel Israel: (04:48) Well, that gets to the core of the Fourth Transformation. I’m not going to walk through the whole thing, but in the First Transformation, we started with putting words into PCs, on knowledge worker desktops, in the form of personal computers. Then, we went to point-and-click with the McIntosh, and that meant everyone could use these desktop things. Then, we went to touch and mobility, and that brought us into what is now this third transformation where anyone is using digital technology everywhere. Now, we’re going to go to a system which is much more intimate than what we have with phones. We’re going to have things in a few years that look like glasses I’m wearing. And, they are going to allow us to do all the things that I had just named: MR, AR, VR; and we’re not going to look freakish, and we’re not going to be tethered to anything. (05:56) This means that the customer experience in stores is going to be changed because they can do things in 3D. They will walk into stores, be at home, and have an immersive experience with the product. Robert Scoble: (10:48) Sensors that are seen around the world, that is billions of dollars for R&D, right? IM-Sense was bought by Apple. Google Tango is doing the same kinds of research, Meta is doing the same kind of … Everybody who wants to build a mixed reality glass has to build sensors to see the world in 3D and bring it into the glass. Then, you talk about the connectivity that you're going to need, right? Because with mixed reality glasses, you get as many TV screens around you as you want. So imagine being able to watch CNN here; here, ESPN is playing; and over here, you can watch your security cameras from your business; and over here, you can watch Amazon servers; and over here, you can watch Facebook. You just look around, you have dozens of screens all around you, and you don't have to buy more if you want more screens. (11:42) But, to serve all those screens with hi-res 4K or 8K video, or eventually even more in the future, you’re going to need a lot of bandwidth, and that’s 5G. 5G brings 35 gigabits per seconds down to the glasses, but we don't yet have 5G and we're going to … And, Verizon has to re-do the architecture on a city, because the cell tower needs to be a kilometer and a half from you or closer, and that's not true with today's cell technology. You can be 15 kilometers away. So, they need to put a lot more cell towers into a city and they put fiber into each one of those antennas, so it's going to bring us 5G. That's coming this year, right? Verizon is turning on the first 11 cities this year. And that's really […] (12:29) You go through the GPU; the GPU is needed to display the polygon. So, when you are seeing virtual things in VR or AR, you're seeing millions of little polygons or little triangles that are underneath what you're seeing; and you'll need a better GPU to process more of those. So, if you want to increase the resolution or increase the frame rates, or increase the experience of being immersed in the media, you need more GPU; or, you need to do a lot of trickery with […] rendering. And you look at the R&D budgets of NVidia, and AMD, and Qualcomm, and [Mallway], and other companies that are building these chips; they are spending billions of dollars per quarter in R&D. (13:10) Then you keep looking around; there are companies that are building eye sensors. GoogleBot, Eyefluence that’s in our book, Facebook product company called Eye Tribe; there is lots of money spent on that, and particularly in the new user interfaces that you’re experiencing when you get a glass like this. They’re investing that.
