Antonio, brother I am following only your rules. My wedding suite, my blazers are chosen from your explanation. Thank you. I am following your videos since 2015. The way you say I AM THE FOUNDER OF RMRS shows your confidence and what you are explaining is done by putting yourself an example, that is very unique.

Honestly, looking through most of The Dark Knot's online catalogue, I'm finding that I'm not especially fond of most of their designs. A lot of them seem to be a little bit too "power suit" for my tastes. I've found a couple of them that I like, but if you want another quality tie company that offers some more basic and conservative designs at around the same price range, I would have to recommend checking out the Beau Ties of Vermont Ltd. website and its online catalogue. Here's the link: www.beautiesltd.com

Hi Antonio, I would like to thank you for all the videos you're doing. You are really helping me building my own style, because I am only a teenager, so I am kind of a beginner to life itself. I try to dress up "sharp" every day, even though I go to school. I try to look casual, but at the same time I want my clothing to look classy and more elegant. Here in the Czech republic not many guys in my age care about their appearance, or even about their attitude whatsover. Quite frankly it drives me nuts. To me, it seems that they don't really care about their future. Thanks to you I realized, that I want to find a job, where I will have to dress up sharp, wear suits and such. I want a job, where will be a certain style expectance. But the problem is that I really love mathematics and physics, but at the same time I want the certain style expectance. I was thinking that I can keep my passion into mathematics and physics as a hobby and have a different job, such as being an attorney, banker etc. Thanks to you, I got to know a little bit more about myself and what I like. Just to the topic of this video. I personally prefer bow ties over neckties. I just like them more, there's no particular reason. Maybe the show Doctor Who had a little impact on me, because I really liked 11th Doctors bow tie. :-) But anyway, a really big thank you and keep up the good work!

Love your channel, Antonio. I was wondering if you've ever discussed tucking in your tie between 2nd and 3rd buttons. Is there ever a time when it's acceptable? Perhaps for soldiers class A, or hipsters at "Friday Night at the Modern Art Museum?" (Not to compare the two)

Great video! I usually wear ties to work in either a full or half Windsor depending on the collar.  My question is; would you recommend any of the other types of knots or should I continue with the more conservative style?  I work in medical research if that matters.

Hi Antonio, my work requires me to carry a laptop, what kind of bag/backpack sling or hand carry bag would u recommend to go with suit, for travel or for business meetings ? I used to have to carry a huge 17" dell then I moved onto slimmer ultra book and now sometimes an iPad will do me just fine But I really struggle to find anything that looks classy yet useful to carry my all essentials without having to look like a school boy with my backpack on which is what I'm currently using
Real Men Real Style (4 years ago)
@dns15r    Not sure if you have ever heard of the company J.W Hulme but they make some high quality beautiful bags. It may be out of price rang but it never hurts to check them out! Here is a link http://www.jwhulmeco.com/RMRS. Right now there is a 16% coupon check it out!

Well as always great video thanks again. I am a tie lover and have allot of 100% silk ties was wishing you went a little more into how to clean the tie. I know you mentioned not to put them in the washing machine but can you please give me some cleaning tips.

@Julian Foster   That is a great Suggestion and I hope to get to it in 2015!

Great video, I love all your videos and I must say they have been a big help with guiding and refining my style..... The problem I am having now is that I have tons and tons of ties... Antonio can you publish a video on how to store were to store and maybe even what to store your ties on? I have been thinking of getting one of those electronic tie racks that holds up to 100 ties. Are any of these worth the money? right now I have all my ties folded over and stuffed in a drawer but I am worried about them catching on something and they are taking up a lot of space.... Thank you for making such quality video Jeremy

@DbD50 thanks for the video suggestion - will make sure to add it to my queue list. This article should also help: http://www.artofmanliness.com/2008/02/08/keep-your-ties-in-tip-top-shape/
Improvu You're choice (4 years ago)
Very interesting, i have a quick question Antonio, all of my suits are gray and similar in design and pattern, but do you think its ok to wear a suit everyday even if I'm going to a cafe? I live in S Kore studying Intl Relations at the moment and want to present myself as that kind of person. The problem is people always ask me why I'm wearing a suit and i don't really know how to respond, also my suits are all similar colour and pattern so one guy said (do you ever change your clothes) obviously I do but i just felt kind of bad in regard to that question. What should i do? Gray suits me the best, m 22 years old and just need advice from a gent with more experience in this field. Thanks Andrew
Real Men Real Style (4 years ago)
@Improvu You're choice great to hear from you Andrew - I don't think there's anything wrong with dressing up and wearing suits everyday - this article should help: http://www.styleforum.net/t/83232/i-want-to-start-wearing-a-suit-every-day
Alron D'Abreo (4 years ago)
Sir, could you please make a video on how to roll up blazer's or a jacket's sleeves? Or if you could just suggest some ways and tips on doing so.  I have a tough time rolling up my blazer's sleeves while going for a casual look with a checkered shirt.  I want to roll them up in a way where a tiny portion of the shirts shows out on the rolled sleeves.  I have viewed the rolling up sleeves video you have put on but I still can't make my way around with blazers or even denims to that matter.  Any sort of help is appreciated. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Real Men Real Style (4 years ago)
@Alron D'Abreo You can only roll up your jacket sleeves if the sleeve buttons are working buttons. Though it’s fine to roll both the jacket and sleeve when needed. This video might be useful http://www.realmenrealstyle.com/rules-on-rolling-shirt-sleeves-when-men-should-roll-sleeves-up-male-style-fashion-advice/

I went in my wardrobe to look at my ties , they're all made of Silk except one that is made of Microfiber (Fits all your points for a good quality tie, the only difference is the texture of it. ) .So, what do you think? Is it a good quality material ? I really love to see how much and how hard you work on your channel every week for us .. I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one who apreciate your videos. Keep up the good work sir.

How to buy a quality tie: 1.get some money 2.go to a big brand name shop 3.get ur fucking tie
Real Men Real Style (4 years ago)
@Beastzz77 Not exactly, but good try!
Svardskampe (4 years ago)
It just struck to me how little views you get for such a quality channel. I guess it explains the brand featuring. Is this something that is actually your second job, or merely a grown-out hobby, or is mens style your primary thing you live and do all day?

I have ironed two of my ties, and nothing went wrong, luckily. I didn't iron directly on the tie. I had two layers of cloths on top. Can this be ok, or is it still a risk?
Real Men Real Style (4 years ago)
@BlueByte Games The past does not predict the future, and hot irons on silk DIRECTLY will damage......I seamstresses do this BUT they have good tools and know how to balance the act.
Joey Lock (4 years ago)
They're nice and I guess you're getting what you pay for but $45 is about £30, if you need a good weekly set of ties for daily dress, that'll set you back £150 on literally just 5 simple silk ties, unless you want to tell everyone the knowledge you know about how your tie is constructed and point out that its got special design to it etc, I'd say one or two of these special ties are sufficient and you could fill the rest with cheaper ties if you're on a budget.
Bob Birdsong (1 year ago)
Joey Lock Second hand shops exist, y’know.
Spicy McHaggis (4 years ago)
Wow. This is a lot of great info. Thanks Antonio! I will need to go look at some of my nicer, more expensive ties to see if they are actually "quality" ties. One of the nicer features I have on a few ties is the keeper. In addition to the label, the keeper is a gold chain, similar to a tie chain. It's something nobody sees, but it's a great detail!
Real Men Real Style (4 years ago)
@Spicy McHaggis Yes it is - that sounds like a great detail!
ClownishSanta (4 years ago)

Stupid Flanders (4 years ago)
Is the shine of the silk an indicator of quality? Also, I have several silk ties that are very thick, but that seems to be preventing them from draping straight, and so they seem a bit lumpy. I've been hanging them straight for months, and they haven't gotten any better.
Real Men Real Style (4 years ago)
@Stupid Flanders  No - it's just a characteristic of the fiber & fabric of silk....not the quality.
I Control My Fate (4 years ago)
Oh, that is pretty cool, so if you bought from them you could know what you can match the tie with. That IS going above and beyond.
Real Men Real Style (4 years ago)
Agreed!  They even have a style adviser! http://www.thedarkknot.com/pages/ask-a-style-advisor
